WE’RE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEER FOOTBALL, BASKETBALL & CHEER COACHES!

The BYC Raiders are looking for dedicated, positive, and enthusiastic individuals to join our organization as volunteer coaches!

Do you have a passion for sports, mentorship, and working with youth? We’re looking for coaches who are ready to help our athletes develop their skills, build confidence, learn teamwork, and grow both on and off the field or court.

🏈 FOOTBALL COACHES

Help teach the fundamentals of football while promoting teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, character, and leadership.

🏀 BASKETBALL COACHES

Help young athletes develop basketball fundamentals, improve their skills, understand teamwork, and build confidence in a positive and encouraging environment.

📣 CHEER COACHES

We’re looking for energetic and dedicated coaches who are:

Fun and enthusiastic
Great with kids
Passionate about cheer
Ready to teach and encourage young athletes
Committed to making a positive impact

VOLUNTEER COACH REQUIREMENTS

All volunteer coaches are required to obtain:

PA State Police Criminal Background Clearance
PA Child Abuse (ChildLine) Clearance

Tackle Football Registration

Registration Form for the 2026 Tackle Football season.
Player MUST be in grades K-7 only

Players MUST live within the York City School District

Players must attend a York City School District school, cyber school, charter school or home school.

BYC Cheer for Tackle Football

Cheerleaders Must be aged 5-14

Basketball Registration

REGISTRATION CLOSED UNTIL OCTOBER

This form is only open to players who have tried out and made the team.
Please DO NOT register if your player did not make a team.

Tryouts begin in October.
