🏈 2026 Tackle Football 🏈

Season: Late July through October

📅 Practices

• Late July – Late August:
  Monday–Friday | 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
• After the first game:
  Tuesday–Thursday | 5:50 PM – 7:30 PM
  Fridays (Walk-Through): 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM

🏟️ Games

• Days: Saturdays and/or Sundays
• Times: Vary by schedule

📍 Player Eligibility

All players must reside within the York City School District and attend one of the following:

• York City School District school
• Charter school
• Cyber school
• Home school
• Private school

   Levels & Grade Requirements

• Smurfs: Grades K - 1
• Rinks: Grades 2 - 3
• Ponies: Grades 4 - 5
• Midgets: Grades 6 - 7
• 
  

📝 Registration Requirements

To complete registration, the following items are required:

1. Completed Registration Form
2. Copy of the player’s birth certificate
3. Must be uploaded during registration.
4. Sports Physical

• Paper forms will be available in-person, they will also be posted in the 360 Player app for printing

    4.  Copy of the player’s most recent report card

• If entering Kindergarten or attending a new school, an enrollment letter is acceptable
• Must include school name, player’s name, and current grade
• Must be uploaded during registration.

   5.  Signed BYC and YCYFA Code of Conduct Forms

• These are on the registration form already. Please read and check the boxes acknowledging that you have read and understand both.

💲 Registration Fee

• Registration Cost: $205 (May 1, 2026 -July 31, 2026)
• Earlybird Price: $185 (until April 30, 2026)
• We have 3 registration payment options available.

📣 2026 Football Cheer 📣

📅 Season

The Cheer season runs from late July through October.

📅 Practices

• Practice dates and times are set by the Cheer Director/Coaches.

📍 Eligibility

All cheer participants must be ages 5-14.

🏀 Basketball 🏀

📅 Tryouts

• Held in October and November
• All players must try out to be placed on a team
• Roster limit:
• 12 players per team

• Practices are a minimum of 2 days per week

📆 Season

• December through February

• Rink Girls: Grades 3–4

The Cheer season runs from December thru February.
